Hey, I’m Kenzie

This work matters to me because your life matters to you

I’ve always loved art, filling notebooks with messy drawings, painting, writing in my notes app, and collecting little scraps of beauty whenever I find them. Anyone who knows me, knows that I can’t resist a good love story.

I’m endlessly inspired by nature. The way it makes you feel very small and very alive at the same time. I try to carry that sense of wonder into every photo I take.

But what really moves me is people: the way we connect and the way we love. I am so fascinated by cinematography. I think there is something sacred in the way a movie can hold a breath of emotion, how light and color can tell a story without saying a word. I’ve always been drawn to films that sit with you long after the credits roll. That doesn't just show you something, but let you feel it. Cinema is real life, in the most beautiful and romanticized way, and that is the way I aim to capture your story.

We have always turned to art to show us ourselves. I want my photos to feel like stills from a film you loved so much that it stayed with you.

When i’m not behind the camera, I’m probably wandering outside with my shoes off, getting way too into a new hobby or hanging out with my pet duck, Cowboy (who has an incredible amount of sass for a bird who can’t fly.) I also spend way too much time discussing the Hunger Games and listening to niche folk music. Oh, and I will reference niche movie quotes every time we talk. I can’t wait to meet you, hear your story, and create something beautiful that feels truly yours.

My Approach

I don’t believe photos are just photos, they’re proof of love, memory, and presence. In a world that rushes past the moments that matter most, my work is about slowing down, and preserving your memories in a way that feels honest and cinematic.

This isn’t about perfection or performance. It’s about creating images that will matter to you years from now, the kind you look back on and feel the laughter, the connection, the way this season of life really was.

If you’re here, it’s because your love deserves more than a highlight reel, it deserves to be remembered for what it truly is.

I’m a fangirl at heart. I will absolutely make my favorite movies and books my entire personality. Lately, that means Heated Rivalry, The Hunger Games, and the Marauders have their fingerprints all over my creative brain.

02.

Cuddling any animal I can get my hands on and falling in love with them immediately

03.

Watching a movie with someone who understands that pausing to talk cinematography and theories is part of the experience, especially when popcorn and M&M’s are involved

The Heirlooms

To be able to pass down your story to future generations, not just with words but imagery that carries emotions.

My Values

At the heart of my work are a few things I don’t compromise on: empathy, compassion, inclusion, and love.

What that means is simple. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from, how you got here, or who and how you love. You are welcome here. Always.

I know the world can feel heavy and unkind at times, so I want to be really clear about the kind of space this is. Your life matters. You deserve to feel safe, respected, and seen. If you’ve ever been made to feel otherwise, I’m so sorry.

This space, and the work I create here, is built on care, dignity, and love. That’s the foundation, and it will not change.

Enough about me, I want to hear about you!
